Graduated in Architecture, Ph.D. in Urban Planning, National Scientific Qualification for Associate Professor in Urban and Territorial Planning and Design, Adjunct Professor at Politecnico di Milano from 1990 to 2010. As a member of DAStU, from 2010 she has coordinated the Laboratory of International Cooperation, developing several research and educational programmes with Universities of Countries of the Global South (Egypt, Ecuador, South Africa, etc.), and has been co-director of the Post-Graduated Programme: Cooper(a)ction: knowledge and skills for sustainable cities in the Global South (2013-2016). She has recently published: A.Petrillo, P.Bellaviti (eds), Sustainable Urban Development and Globalization. New strategies for new challenges, with a focus on the Global South, Springer, 2018.
