Architect, Ph.D., is an Adjunct Professor of Architectural Design at Politecnico di Milano. Since 2009 he has been teaching and researching in collaboration with the Measure and Scale of the Contemporary City Research Lab(MSLab), DAStU. His research investigates the processes and spatial correlations of sustainable urban development in its inter-scalar framework and socio-ecological dimension, with a focus on strategic planning and urban architecture.  He collaborated to projects related to these topics in Europe, Africa, and Middle-East and his Ph.D. research had a focus on East African rapid urbanization.  He collaborated with the International Cooperation Lab at Politecnico di Milano and since 2017 he has been involved in research and capacity development initiatives with UN-Habitat, Urban Planning and Design Branch.
